My name is Erika Renee Tinsley and I am a seventeen-year-old from Los Angeles, California. I am the founder and creator of 'Understanding the Misunderstood', a podcast dedicated to shedding light on the misconceptions surrounding mental health and giving a voice for those who feel voiceless. Being a person who suffers from mental health conditions myself, my ultimate goal is to help others better understand themselves and those who feel misrepresented through the power  of education.
